Plan

Carolina Plantsman by Makoré

Creating a plan of action can be simple, like recommending a tree for removal. Plan creation can also be complex, like advising contractors, designers and developers on the multi-step construction preservation requirements to save a 200-year-old live oak.

Planning Based on the Facts

Data collection gives us the facts. Planning gives us the chance to use those facts to influence and guide our clients in a direction that creates clarity and favorable design outcomes. Our most detailed plans involve larger problems. Bark beetle infestations in the Carolinas, protected trees based on jurisdictional requirements, or design needs that impact desired trees called out for preservation. Our experience helps us make common sense recommendations.

A Report for Documentation

Dealing with insurance companies, jurisdictional departments like planning, county inspectors, and city urban forestry can be challenging. Our reports and exhibits give you the security to point the evidence instead of going back and forth with officials or companies. Documentation memorializes the facts during the time period the report was written and data collected. We stand by our reports and are available for conversations with city urban forestry, county inspectors, planning, and contractors.

Reporting Over Time

On properties where re assessments are recommended for tree defects or tree preservation, our reports can be used to document the success, failure, or areas of change in a tree or group of trees on your project. These reports can also document decline or increased vitality when needed. This is valuable to prove code compliance to jurisdictional stakeholders and hold contractors available with planted trees and other planted material.
